Is QFG Currently accepting applications?
We accept new members at the beginning of every semester. The next round of applications will close in September 2018. The Fall 2018 Application will go live in May 2018 and you may apply at any time until the closing date.
Do I have to contribute money to the Fund?
Our organization prefers members to invest in a QFG fund because this incentivizes members to be active and diligent. However, we do accept a limited number of Analysts that do not have a stake in the fund. Prospective Analysts must demonstrate a strong willingness to dedicate time and effort to the Group.
What levels of membership are offered?
​Analysts: Contribute to idea generation but have no stake in the fund.
Associates: Contribute to idea generation and investment decision-making.
Partners: In addition to idea generation and investment decision-making, due to holding the largest stakes, they also make operational decisions and together constitute QFG Leadership.
CAn I invest PASSIVELY in QUaker Finance?
Yes, we offer passive membership. Passive members are called ​Investors. They must hold at least 50 shares in a QFG fund (~$10/share) but bear no responsibilities regarding investment research and execution. Inquiries for passive investments can be made here.
Are there any requirements for eligibility?
Ideal candidates have a strong interest in finance and a passion for investing. Candidates should be willing to dedicate at least 3 hours per week to the organization. No experience is required but any relevant knowledge or skills are welcome.
What do I get out of Joining?
